The Wyden castle near Ossingen
On its final approach, the B-24 "Jackpine Joe" crashed into Wyden castle. It caught fire and the tower, the chapel and the eastern extension were almost completely destroyed.
In 1946 the castle was rebuilt. No changes have been made to it since then. The castle is privately owned by Max Huber's heirs.
